My wife has a lingering cough! I have a few lung issues. I get short of breath a lot quicker than normal! Mike I give all the time and they stopped doing the antibody test around here. They only did it for a while but demand was too high. I wish they would start up again.

If interested download the Red Cross app and search for it here in Branson. They will do the test and post the results on your app. Cheapest way to get the test plus you’re helping someone by donating blood. Nice trade off. Mike Quillback, nomolites, big c and 1 other 3 1

vernon Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Back in mid to late October all six members of our immediate family tested positive within a four day period. Two of us in our house and four at my brothers. All of our symptoms were about the same in that it was like having a cold and not a very bad one at that. Lasted six to eight days. Typical flu/cold stuff - body aches, chills, cough, headache, etc. What was weird though is hardly any of the symptoms were at the same time like with a typical flu or cold and they were so mild as to feel more like the onset of getting sick than actually being sick. One day we'd have some chills, the next day a few body aches, then a headache, etc. But they were never severe. Had low energy and felt a little rundown for a couple days so we all just stayed inside and rested up. The most severe symptom for all of us (but again it was more of an annoyance than actually severe) was the sensation of a sinus headache. I had it for three days behind my right eye and then it switched to the left and lasted two more days. A couple of times I also had the feeling that I was running a fever but my temperature was actually 97.4. Also had an unproductive cough off and on and a little tightness in the chest but again it was like coming down with something but never really getting it. We all tended to agree that the worst of it was the loss of taste and smell as that was crazy. My brother couldn't taste or smell anything for over two weeks although it was only a few days for me. He actually spilled gasoline on his hands one day and couldn't smell it at all. When my sense of smell started to come back EVERYTHING smelled like bacon for a couple of days. Actually kind of enjoyed that part...... We also know of another ten to twelve friends or acquaintances that have gotten it and their symptoms are/were nearly identical. Personally, I'll take whatever version of Covid that we all had over the "normal" flu or cold any day and I'm 68, fat, eat crappy, drink too much, have COPD and have had pneumonia four times. Don't believe everything you hear and see on TV. magicwormman and snagged in outlet 3 2 "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Quillback Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Pneumonia 4 times! Man, I think I'd take COVID over pneumonia. Well I'm 63, fat, eat crappy food and drink too much, so you give me hope should I catch it. It doesn't seem to effect young people hardly at all, sports world, both pros and college, have all kinds of players coming down with COVID and they all seem to do fine. With all that being said, I don't want to catch it, and if I get it, don't want to pass it on. magicwormman and LD Fisher 1 1

She was hospitalized for quite a while and has ended up with lung and heart problems. magicwormman 1
