Short version, TB is a great team, with a great O and D line, KC was beat up, and had a couole backups in the game and Mahomes had a broken toe.  But TB simply outplayed KC, Brady love him or hate him didn't get all those SB rings by being a so so QB.  KC will be back.

This is a big why for it being so difficult for a team to repeat. The skills might be there, but there is luck in regards to the health of the players that no one has control over. Once the season is over, you then hope that you have the money to keep the team together for another run.

The Chiefs had an unusually high number of just plain old dropped passes too.

And like I told my buddy, the referees had a great game.

Interesting that KC would not try and run the ball with 2 deep safeties...especially down a lineman, and Mahomes  a bit gimpy....no quarterback is effective running for his life..KC was exposed, until they can overcome how they were defended they will be vulnerable...this will make two years teams learn how to defense KC.....last year we saw a return to running the ball....that trend will continue, Offensive linemen’s value will keep going up...knowing they will run the ball, but unable to stop it has merit...Tampa’s defense was suspect I don’t think KC respected it

And I wouldn’t blame Mahomes for bad throws

KC had their hands all over the bucs.  It’s been talked about all season about KC.  I’m sure it was brought to the refs attention in the pre game meeting.  It all came down to the O line for KC.

Same crew gave Brady that playoff game two years ago.  And gave him that TD before halftime yesterday with the worst pass interference call (pass was ten yards overthrown) I've seen lately.   Read about their history with the Chiefs.

But even so, that was just one part of the story.  Chiefs didn't play well in any phase of the game except field goal kicks.

So the Chiefs knew they were under the eye of the refs?   They were muggers😂

My sister in law is bringing my mother in law back Thursday from KC.    I’m gonna needle her about it all evening while getting her drunk on wine.  It’ll be great!!😁
