Launched at about 0730, cloudy sky, water was flat calm and stayed that way for the most part all morning.  Thought today would be a dynamite day for Ned fishing, but the bass didn't agree, I threw the Ned quite a bit and had only one spot and a 17" walleye to show for it.

Threw a Pointer 78 early, there were a few fish coming up to swirl on top, gave them a chance at the Pointer, missed three bites and those were the last bites I had on it.

Out of desperation I started swimming a 2.8 Keitech on a 3/16 oz head on flats that were 20-30 feet deep.  Let it fall to the bottom and then slow rolled it back.  Started catching fish, all spots with one meanmouth.  Left at 1:30 PM with 15 bass total, 5 keepers.

Nice report Jeff, keep them coming.

Got back home from Columbia today and am feeling great.  Wish I could have done this years ago. Just did not have the insurance.

Great to know, Bill. Headed down that road myself before long. Gotta get the gal a new hip first.
