Firetiger was a really good color pattern early in the season back in Iowa.  Water was typically much less clear there.  What's a good early season color in MO?  I saw some guys throwing red crankbaits for bass last weekend.  In fact, one of their crankbaits broke off and floated into my range...I cast out and caught it.  When those guys walked near a couple hours later, I returned it to them.

That looks tasty.  My experience is it depends on water clarity; in more turbid water Fire tiger is a good color here as well, although black/chartreuse is the one combo that is tough to beat in those conditions.  In clear water natural colors seem to be better, but a little chartreuse/fluorescent yellow rarely is a bad thing...sometimes purple is the difference.

I can't think of anything fishier than a strip of rabbit hide.    Especially in water with some stain in it.

This one here has been a Spring time killer for me going on 12 years now.   Whites in high dirty water, and LM/SM on spawning beds will absolutely destroy this dude.

Looks great!  I could swear I saw this picture on Facebook today or yesterday in regards to a question about a stream "an hour away from" the person who posted?
