We had 3.5 inches here at the Lodge in Blue Eye last nite after getting zero the last two days.  Just poured and thunder and lightning all night 

Talked to 4 different teams fishing this weekend. 2 were just hammering them and 2 could not get a bite. Very strange this time of year. They are on certain locations and not so much similar spots. If you get on them, you better stay with them, cause they may not be around the corner.

Was looking at 110's on Ebay and they now have a +3 version but you have to order it either from Japan or Singapore.  I would have to think it will hit the US market eventually.  Supposedly gets down to "4 meters" which I would guess translates to 13 or 14 feet.

I wonder about the action on a spoonbill like that. I know the regular 110's seem to have better action and a quicker snap than the plus 1 and 2. They just get deeper faster

Does make you wonder - I threw a plus 1 on one of the BV lakes yesterday for a bit and I agree on the less action factor.  Did get one bite on it that got off, felt like a good fish.  I replaced the stock hooks with those Aaron Martens Gammies, those things are scary sharp - always a wonderment to me that a bass can grab a lure with 3 sets of sharp trebles and somehow get off.
