Both the battery and black Box fit in my rodbox The battery comes with the charger. I'm running the livescope and a 93sv off of it and ran 12 hours last week and never even dropped to 12volts. Had plenty of juice left. Weighs about a pound which really is helpful with my tracker That's slick.

I have the male trolling motor plug on my black box wires (not my graph) . I plug them up, and then can easily take this setup out to charge, it’s all contained in my front compartment. I am really happy with this setup as I don’t have to worry as much about draw on the battery, and have a 12v 12AH cheap mighty max battery I keep in the boat as backup in case my lithium ever runs out. So I recommend 2 things: keeping your black box and cranking battery separate. And go on Amazon and get a 50 dollar Norco jump box to keep in your boat in case your cranking battery does go down. can you post a picture of that? or email or text one?

Thx That's been my setup in the Ranger since 2005, except I think the cranking battery is bigger than a 27. Motor specs call for more power. That said, it's on a four bank, so it charges every night along with the TM batteries.

I've been considering Livescope.....however my problem is today I may be in my boat, tomorrow my buddies, the next day someone elses....been considering a way to make it mobile before I shell out the $$. Lots of Youtubes out there all almost exclusively use LI battery in ammo can style setup.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 I run lead acid, my charging system on my motor isnt made to handle an AGM. So make sure your motor will work with AGM's before you guys throw those in dtrs5kprs 1

Quillback Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Yeah you can get the Lithium batteries with their own charger so you don't need an on board charger for the lithiums. Here's another video where the guy rigged his Livescope system to run off a Dewalt battery. My New LITHIUM BATTERY SETUP For LIVESCOPE! They can provide a high reserve capacity along with high cranking amps. They are often called dual purpose. dtrs5kprs and bobby b. 2
