And for the record, even though I don’t partake myself, I’m 100 percent in favor of legal marijuana, and think it should be pulled off the standard drug tests. It’s no worse than alcohol.

If folks want to smoke a little after work, they shouldn’t lose their job when other folks can modify their headspace with a six pack.

Meth is killing rural America.

The misuse of it is certainly bad for families, but in all honesty I'm not sure that a single road, bridge, building, house, or bassboat could get built nowadays without it.

That substance is even fueling many (most?) Amish businesses.

An argument could be made that alcohol has done worse (or at least equal) damage to society.

But then there is the argument that alcohol is necessary to deal with society today.

The special interest minority groups that want to make the world like their tainted way.  The insane perversion that everyone wants to see how stupid we can be on TV or the Net.  The lack of ethics and morals that have polluted society.  So many people thinking that everyone owes them something for nothing and the lack of drive to succeed on your own power.   The reliance on the Government to give you all you need to survive instead of finding ways to lessen the Government and make individuals pull the own weight.

It could really drive someone to drink.

If they’re driving a fork truck lifting heavy things would you say the same thing?

I'd choose a stoned guy over a drunk, or hungover guy in any occupation, any day.

I’ll take neither

You and Me are probably the only people on the earth that aren't under the influence of some kind of meds.   And I'm not 100% sure about YOU.  😂

There's a new "Freddy's" hamburger joint going in Nevada.  It's going to require 80 people to run it (sounds high to me but that's what the owners are saying) .  Even 3M which pays real money and has a very good benefit program has trouble getting and keeping enough people.  Freddy's is going to have a real uphill battle.

I don't care what anybody says to the contrary, meth has been very very hard on that town and actually the whole area.  I've seen it firsthand and still see it when we go back for a visit.  Drive down the street and you can't avoid seeing the effects.  Lots of formerly nice places are ready to fall down, yards full of junk and multi-colored cars with plastic taped over broken windows.  Very sad to see.

The family that we visit there have stories that will curl your hair.  And I don't even have any hair.
