Yes.  Apparently it's very common.  Enough so it's called Popeye syndrome.  Tore my tendon right in half.

            Well I feel for you. When you said Popeye muscle I then knew exactly  what you were dealing with. We know have something in common. I have a roached left shoulder. Needs replaced. Rotator surgery many years ago. Now replacement only option. Well had a doctor tell me I had Popeye muscle. I said I figured it was atrophy because I was not able to normally use that shoulder. Nope you have ripped your bicep. What do I do? Nothing to do. When I decide to replace shoulder someday can it be fixed? Nope don't think so he reported.  I have no idea when I did this. My shoulder hurts all the time so it just showed up..
