Just make tournaments illegal or prosecute every tournament sponsor for wanton waste. Set limits at any level you want there would be no enforcement, just as there is no enforcement with game fish limits. One of my "5 counties" doesn't even have a warden/Agent now and as much time as I spend on the creeks I rarely ever see an Agent, there aren't enough of them to go around. Creation of unenforceable laws is just BS and a waste of time and money.

The top is from a post from a famous anglers son  might recognize the name....He got salty when that pile was left near a boat launch....second is a bfing tourney dumpster...I have a bazillion road side dump pics...how salty would harvesting a limit of bass with a bow? What is the difference?  Never see dumpsters of silver And bigheads

I have no problem with that, if anyone is allowed to kill six bass a day everyone should be allowed to, regardless sex, race or tackle.

Bass would be to easy, they are so curious they come to noise.  Im an avid club tournament guy, nothing big, and i have no problem with people keeping some bass to eat if the want.  I also scuba dive and there is a reason most lakes have a no spearfish rule for bass.  Bass will literally follow you around it is crazy, and you see so many 5+lbs it makes you sick.  We will sit in brush and tap our tanks with rock and the bass come in to investigate.....Im a believer in rattles after seeing what i have seen under water..

I would say a big NO to letting people shoot them with bows. Same with gigging, it would be so easy to whack a whole bunch of bass over suckers if it was legal.

But limits, man, no one would ever exceed the limits.    It would not be legal to kill more one way than another. The only difference it would make is one guy would limit out in ten minutes and have to go home while the other guy could stay there and beat the water all day.  Six  dead fish are dead fish any how they get dead.
