fishinwrench Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 That was great. 👍 A 4 pounder! 😂 This is why we love fish stories.
Gavin Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 Those fish must have been really friendly....Both of the sports were pathetic casters. snagged in outlet 3 1

He was a pretty good caster (as I remember) but the waters we fished had quite a bit of "color" and the longest cast was about 40'. His teaching method was hilarious. You'd get about 10 minutes worth of instruction at the very beginning of the day.....Then, on the drive home, he would either tell you how proud he was of you for listening and trying, or he'd ream your @$$ for not following instructions. I'll never forget the first day I outfished him. He didn't say a single word all the way home 😳 I was afraid he'd never take me fishing with him ever again. He did though....but the 10 minute "instruction periods" at the beginning of the day ceased forever. 😂 Foghorn 1

Casting has nothing at all to do with this being a great video. It is flat arse a fun video. Have you ever seen some of the original Howard Hill hunting and stunt movies? Some of the early Fred Bear ones? Classic fun stuff. fishinwrench 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" Greasy B Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 I’d rather spend the day with those ole boys and their noddle rods than some young bucks and their exaggerated double hauls. Fun video, thanks for posting. BilletHead 1 His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. tjm Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 The casting was the first thing I noted, but then he pulled up that stringer of fish. I don't cast very well or very far, yet I've caught several fish on the fly rod. I may catch one today if I get off my lazy. fishinwrench and FishnDave 2
