You see at the end of that video the eagle was sitting in the water and thinking "What the heck am I going to do with this now?  I'm all wet and I can't get this thing out of the water because it's too big"

 

Maybe the eagle did it to feed the fish and make them bigger so he can eat bigger fish later on?

The article states "The eagle flew away after drowning the fawn and dragging it to shore. The raptor returned to feed on the deer over the next four days until the only thing left was tufts of hair."

                    Yep more to the article than the video. You all know those monthly magazines we used to get before the internet and world wide web? More than just pictures in those too!
