Nope they were all released, in the summer at cape the weigh ins are on the bank. Guarantee i had the livest fished weighed in.. I take extreme care to make sure they live. I catch them deep in the summer.  I ice my livewell at the launch. Add peroxide to increasing the dissolved O2 content. and put rejuvenade in and try to keep it at least 10 degrees cooler than the surface temp.  I even added an auxiliary aerator just to give them more air. I fizzed every one of them and even put a fin clip on the big one just to keep her down, those big ones like to float on there side even if they are healthy for some reason.

Have to admit the fence and sink made me think the same momentarily, but I knew better considering the author of the post. Andy, thanks for not only taking care of YOUR fish, but for setting an example for others. Also, thanks for sharing your recipe for keeping them alive and kicking up their heels. With MDC flat refusing to consider supplemental stocking, it's up to US as anglers to protect the resource. Just one more live fish in the lake means everyone has one more chance to get bit when we are out fishing for fun or profit.

Yep, i can see how that pic may look a little suspect. I do my very best to keep them lively. Im flat embarrassed to bring in a dead one. Every once in a while it is unavoidable if you hook one wrong (Tongue) but it is easy to avoid killing them from warm water. All fish in the Cape tournament looked good today too, i didnt see any dead at weigh.

I had 13.27 for my 4 fish limit and i got Big bass of 4.20.  Good enough for 3rd today.  We had 10-12 keepers today all caught deep.

Another good mess of fish. Ledge bite must be finally starting. Thanks again to all of you Cape Fair guys for taking care of our fish. They belong to all legal fishermen and it's upon all of us to take care of em.
