Quillback Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 One thing I have seen several of the pros do with that live image stuff is watch fish react to their jerkbaits. They can see them following and adjust their retrieve to what it takes to get them to bite. Watched a musky fishing show where they had the live image transducer on the side of the boat, they were on a river and would just scan the water on the side of the boat until they spotted a musky, then they'd stop and fish for it. snagged in outlet 3 1

Can’t call it the fish of 10,000 casts anymore huh😆 Champ188 and Quillback 1 1
fishinwrench Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Beings as how I've gotten all into flyfishing for Whites out over the shallow flats, I'm tempted to put a Lowrance live unit on my flyfishing rig just to save my arm 500 casts when trying to find them. But I have mixed feelings about that. #1. I seem to do just fine without it. It doesn't hurt to get skunked occasionally. #2. What's it going to do to my BRAIN when I know they are there.....but I can't catch them? There will be no excuses. 🥺 I'm probably better off not knowing. #3. It's just ONE MORE THING to get line wrapped around. Champ188 1

True that. Sometimes I just float around out there sipping on MGD and enjoying the peace & quiet. One evening the fish suddenly started blitzing and it actually pissed me off. I mean c'mon LEAVE ME ALONE! 😅 Mitch f, vernon and BillT 2 1
Members Matt Henry Posted August 3, 2021 Members Posted August 3, 2021 It was great to see Matt Stefan have a strong event. It looked like he caught many of his keepers on a Ned. Matt Henry

He had 2 Lowrance HDS units, but he never runs them. I clicked them on and spotted the Shad Balls and had some sense of depth we were fishing in new water to me. It helps. But, as in all addictions, there is the overkill. I have 3 graphs on my Ranger ... a 5-inch Lowrance HDS in-dash that came standard with the boat. I added a Humminbird 998 SI/DI on the console and a Humminbird 958 DI on the bow. I use them all, although admittedly not to the extent of most people. Pretty much use them to find shad. On the occasion that I dropshot or spoon, I'll use the one on the front to follow my bait. Just sayin, seven graphs is IMO a bit over the cliff. Not sure some of the pros who are running that many really see it as practical either ... just following their electronics sponsor's request to try to sell the concept to the public.

Being layed up here at the house in a non-walking cast I been watching a lot of videos. Got 10 dozen flies tied so I'm pretty bored. Been watching planes take off and land with absolutely no help from the pilot. He or she now can just let a navigation computer either take off or land a small plane. Hang in there, buddy. Football cometh soon.

You'll also need a AI bot to tie your jigs and knots, weigh your fish and other tasks while it suggests what lures and colors to use and where to fish. The bot will also drive from spot to spot while your hands remain free to update your latest catches to social media in real time, that is if the AI bot hasn't already done that for you. The bot will also park the boat on the trailer for you,and there will be upgrades you can buy to get more robot features such as a drone package. The bot can also fly the drones to spy on your competition,as many as 5 mini drones at once that you can watch while wearing special drone viewing polarized sunglasses. Over the last couple weeks I've watched every video. Old School Bass Fishing Videos. This old school is what I like about bass fishing . https://youtube.com/channel/UC6eVTYpYuNzfQf428Pe2NgQ You raised the humor bar pretty high there, buddy. Great stuff to read and chuckle about.

I think wheeler buys his own... Mix and match. I believe he had a youtube video about it.
