My dad had a business meeting the morning of 9/11 in one of the buildings that was crushed by the towers. The meeting was canceled at the last minute.

My brother saw the second tower collapse from his office. They walked across the Brooklyn Bridge to head home. He said that folks were deathly quiet the whole trip.

Didn't realize it at the time, but it twisted me up pretty good for about a month. I worked thru it on a double all-nighter on Table Rock.

I can't dance like I used to.

I know where I was, I know what I was doing. Years later my dad died on 9/11. Now I just choose to ignore it all. Let me know when it’s the 12th.
