SplitG2 Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Down for a couple of days with some buddies. Fished kimberling area and up lake from there. Nothing on topwater over two days. Caught some on medium running crankbaits, jigs and jerkbaits on points in creeks. Caught a few on a GP Ned Rig. A couple keepers yesterday but mostly short fish and not many of them. It’s tough. We ended up finding some today on the main lake in places you would normally fish in July and caught some good spots. Lots of boats today from the tournaments and rec traffic. Water temp was 74-75 with a little stain. Royal Blue, abkeenan, FishnDave and 8 others 11

abkeenan Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 Did you try just fishing off your dock? That usually works. Champ188 and magicwormman 1 1

Thus, I will be fishing yours Friday and Saturday. I figure at least 6 of those Unspoken Cove fish will be calling Aunts Creek home by the end of the Bo Derby on Saturday. Techo will be giddy. I figure with me and Donna onboard, one of us will fish while the other chunks a spoon or Spook at Alex and any other interloper who may dare to show up. m&m, magicwormman, abkeenan and 3 others 2 4

Those fish left a note saying they packed their bags and were headed to the back of Beardsley for the winter. They should be directly in front of you by Halloween. abkeenan 1
