I share fish pictures, because I feel that stimulates people to get out and go fishing. If few people fish, few people will want to conserve/improve the resource. @Ham knows where I often fish. Its a horrible, dangerous, uncomfortable, and ugly place. I don't even want to fish there! The solitude is nice. You forgot that it stinks too😂 Johnsfolly 1

It might...my sense of smell isn't particularly good. For example, I'll make a fresh pot of coffee here at home, and I can barely smell it IN THE KITCHEN. My wife can smell it from anywhere in the house. 😬 Johnsfolly 1

I have standards when it comes to rough fish....😂

What it lacks in visual appeal, it makes up in Grass Carp. I only wish it had more snakes amongst those miserable boulders. mixermarkb Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 I normally post reports, but I haven’t been fishing since I was called back to work in late May. It’s been nice to be off of unemployment, but the concert and events industry is still running at maybe half of what it was pre-COVID, and it’s tough to spend money fishing when you are living paycheck to paycheck. I hope to be down sometime next week for a couple days, and I’ll post what I catch (or more likely don’t). I do agree though, plenty of seasonal pattern info posted here over the years, and it gets a little discouraging to just talk to 24/7 and Ham over and over again while the rest of the Internet reads our conversations, even though I like those guys.. lol

It's no secret how to catch bass or anything else on Bull. People know about the lake too , it's not a secret either. By the time someone reads a bass fishing report here, that bite and or pattern has probably changed anyway. Unless you're throwing a homemade lures nobody else has keep them a secret of course ,lol like I do. Don't have to give specific details either like line lures which cove or creek.. Depth water temp general location bluffs points brush ect. is enough to get anybody pointed in the right direction to start. I've shared enough information on seasonal patterns to put anybody on fish bass crappie gills ect during any season of the year. You're welcome 😉 The crappie fishing has been amazing for months . Been catching them with the same baits and presentations since April. Have yet to catch a crappie deeper than 12' post spawn. They are down there deep, but the shallow fish are 10x more aggressive from what I've found. We jigged some out of brush in 6' of water on the bottom two weeks ago, mostly black crappie then, but every Fall the white crappie move shallow too, need to get out there soon and see if they are hanging out on the shallow flats adjacent to the main creek channel and/or if they have also moved into the brush now with the blacks . Usually by the time the Oak leaves drop in Ozark county MO that's prime Fall crappie time on Bull imo. Good luck to everyone ! Catch you later 😉 Much truth here. You can relay a lot of information without giving away a darn thing that is personal. Too bad when great sources like 24/7 get frustrated at being the only ones to share. Can't really blame em for backing off when it's all take and no give. mixermarkb, Jerry Rapp and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 1
