grizwilson Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 I was told many years ago to place a 50 or 100 dollar bill under a rock at waters edge, that way you will keep an eye on it..... 1 hour ago, N9BOW said: so I wasnt too panicked when the twig and two berries got wet and realized I needed to fight the new deeper current.. Pick a rock or whatever and keep an eye on it. Look at the generation schedule. It can jump from 1800 to 3300 cfs and back down again within a few hours. I guarantee they didn’t blow a horn. Thanks Snagged! And I am now fully aware thanks to personal experience... not that THEY (The Corp) helped in any way.... I have had an Epifinay! (warning to anyone reading... you are not going to be given any REAL heads up to life or death situational awareness with regard to rising water!) Now that I know my safety below the Dam is frankly a moving target! according to the Army Corp of Engineers... this sucks and should easily be remedied...dont release unless you horn! Simple right? waiting for the excuses??? I'll hold my breath... Not really! . fshndoug and snagged in outlet 3 2

What about inflation?😆. What scares is me is the guys down at rim shoals surprised the water is rising and they complain they didn't hear the horn..... Long ago there was a horn there on that little shack. Not sure if the shack is still there. Water hasn't been low enough to wade there since the great min flow was adopted.👎 At least when I drive down anyway😑
Quillback Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Well if I am ever out fishing the White from the bank and see a hundo laying on the edge of the river, I'll know Les must be around somewhere. BilletHead and N9BOW 2
netboy Posted October 29, 2021 Author Posted October 29, 2021 Day before yesterday they blew the horn twice and no water ever came. I always pick out a rock or log on the shoreline and if it gets covered, time to head in. grizwilson 1

I’d take the hundo and find a different spot to fish.😁 I don’t need a hundo to keep me from drowning. Drowning in itself is enough to pay attention. Quillback 1
