snagged in outlet 3 Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Are some of those under the length limit?

Fish24/7 Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Bslbd will never get another penny from me. Worst boat rental experience of my life about 10/12 years ago..boat was fine, the old broad behind the counter who rented it to us was beyond rude. Who rents a fishing boat to customers with cash, and then tells them "you won't catch any walleye today, it's too sunny". Came back in four hours or so with walleye. That shut her up pretty quick. They wanted to take our pictures, sorry that's not happening. Not the first or second or tenth time I've seen questionable sized fish posted on their Facebook. Camera angles can be tricky ,can make fish look bigger or smaller sometimes but some of the smaller looking fish in that pic seem to be squeakers if that . I hate seeing largemouth bass getting their heads whacked off, sure I eat kentuckies sometimes . There's way more of them than the other bass. Maybe these guys released them after the pic ,but some of those fish look like they already met God.
Lvn2Fish Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 I don’t love killing the bass but they all look legal to me . 12 inch spots and 15 inch largemouth . Under the possession limit . Who cares Bull shoals is full of fish this size .
Members Cameron Gillespie Posted November 26, 2021 Members Posted November 26, 2021 I’m not a fan of putting the knife to the nice sized largemouth and the smallmouth. I’m not a hypocrite, I’ve taken the sides off of some decent largemouth and done the same to some smallies in Canada. I just try not to make it a regular thing. I’ve got enough crappie and walleye so I’m not going to be greedy and keep some bass. It doesn’t hurt to keep a few bass from time to time, but a lot of people doing it will put the hurt on them. What bothers me are the meat hogs on streams who eat every smallmouth they catch. snagged in outlet 3 1
rps Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 All bass, even spots, go back in my boat. The only exception is when one manages to tear gills on a crank bait. Walleye, bluegill, yellow perch, and crappie are fair game for the pan.
Dutch Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 I find it strange that guys put bass back even if they aren’t bass fishermen but keep other species to eat. I keep an occasional spot on Stockton because I like the taste of 12-14 inchers. I don’t ever keep a smallmouth because of their slow growth rate. I never keep a largemouth because of the way they smell.
gotmuddy Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 I am 100% fine with anyone eating invasive or stocked species. If the fish are legal length then I do not see an issue. I have eaten plenty of bass when I was a youngster growing up in Texas. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
