Johnsfolly Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Just was looking out our bedroom window and saw these guys. We see some hens from time to time and have heard gobbling in the woodlot. How fitting to see six large Tom turkeys out on Thanksgiving morning. I hope that anyone who reads this post has a great day today. Even in the times that we live in today there is still so much to thankful for this year. Enjoy the time with friends and family. Even if they may just be online friends like those here on OAF🙂. tho1mas, JestersHK, Quillback and 4 others 4 3
Quillback Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Cold with a strong north wind blowing here. Getting ready to stuff the bird and then stuff the bird in the oven. Looking forward to eating some turkey with family.  Happy Thanksgiving! Johnsfolly 1
Dutch Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Back at you.  We cooked the turkey yesterday.  Our clan wants 6 boy curry instead of stuffed bird. Johnsfolly 1
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Happy Thanksgiving John, and all OAF members. I truly hope you all are able to enjoy life daily. You all make my life more enjoyable.  Thank you.  Johnsfolly 1 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Johnsfolly Posted November 25, 2021 Author Posted November 25, 2021 I am watching a British TV show called Farming the wild. They are actually hunting in NH for spring turkey. The host has stated that we in the US are blessed with lots of public lands and active conservation. As we are watching the show there has been a parade of bucks through the wood lot. There was one young buck, one unknown age but bigger bodied buck, a nice size 3 yr old 8 pt, another smaller 7 pt, and a giant that was way off in the woods. All this in about 45 mins.  All hunted with binos from the windows. No active shooters this morning. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
rps Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Sad I live in the city now, but still thankful for so much. My holiday wish? May all of you share your holidays with those you love. Johnsfolly, Daryk Campbell Sr and BilletHead 2 1
jdmidwest Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Happy Thanksgiving from the countryside today. Not much moving here, big blowing front came thru today.
