Seth Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Good to hear that it didn't hit ya'll very hard. That's the scary part is not knowing how it will hit you once you do actually get it. My fiance has been exposed so many times lately at work that it aint funny. She was feeling a bit down last week and tested herself twice but both came back negative. She's boosted and I'm just now able to get my booster but haven't done so. I've been around a lot of people lately and I just keep waiting for it to get me but so far so good. JestersHK 1
JestersHK Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 Have any of you gotten tested for antibodies? May be able to put some at ease knowing they had it and they were asymptomatic. The tests are out there and I believe still free but don't quote me on that. I like Seth wish they could focus on why it's so deadly for some and seemingly mild for others... We've had 3 rounds of illness go through my house, only one tested covid positive but I'm fairly sure it was covid that made the rounds as we all had same symptoms but didn't bother getting tested. We were all pretty mild. Me and the oldest had fevers and symptoms in March of 2020 but again never tested as that was the early days hehe crazy happened. That one put me down hard for about 4 days. About to the point wife was gonna take me to ER then fever broke and I came back around. Never experienced any illness like that before. Wife hasn't been sick since before start of Covid or she's been totally asymptomatic, or we have 3 kids and she was a nurse so has a robust immune system... who knows. Glad you all are making it past it ok. Especially you guys who had it bad or have high risk. Take care of yourselves out there. Terrierman 1

I’ve been exposed over and over including my daughter having it here at home. We went to her graduation, rode in the car with her to Rolla and back and she woke up sick. She tested positive both rapid test and pcr. We never quarantined or anything. Wife and I never got it. Or at least no symptoms. JestersHK 1

Have you been to any Chinese Labs selling them pipes? Played with bats? Voted for the other side? Terrierman Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 There's research happening on that front as I type. If there's a GMO shot developed as an outcome of that work that gives full immunity, I'll be right in line.
tjm Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 Is there a good antibody test? where to get it? I guess I probably just had the third go-round if it, never tested because of test availability, but this time the wife tested positive and we were sick together. Really mild symptoms for us both, but it canceled Christmas, New Years and a grandchild's birthday party.
