Caught these while flyfishing with @Ham

Maybe 10 years from now, somebody will take pictures of a BIG, beautiful 18"-21" Smallmouth Bass...and I'll say..."Hey, I caught that same fish...10 years ago!"  ;o)

I’ve seen a lot of snakes this week.  Box turtles too.   I sure hate seeing them on the roads.

@FishnDave great looking LES. Still trying to find some of them here in MD. Have a couple of high probability spots to fish. None that I have seen here come close to the coloration of those Ozark LES.

Love that baby bowfin. Almost want to try putting that guy in an aquarium😉.

We also have been seeing quite a number of zebra swallowtail this spring.

Yes, I saw a lot of Box Turtles on Monday during my drive home.  It was raining...I assume that may have drove them up onto roads?  On the way DOWN, I saw SOOOO MANY dead Armadillos!

Flyfished Saturday.  It was hot!  Water was high and stained.

Caught 2 Channel Catfish:

And 10 Shortnose Gar, including some decent-sized ones.
