Buddy of mine was up the White somewhere today.  He had a brief but productive burst of fishing.  3 casts, a 3+ on each cast.  4th cast - nothing, 5th cast a 5-15.  All in the same spot.  Jig fish.  I believe he said he only caught one other bass and it was not a keeper.  Might have been two more, but no more keepers.

Happens often this time of year on Table Rock. Great reminder for all of us for late winter bite. Thanks!

Was fishing a club tournament on DeGray in Arkansas back in the 80s and found a northside pocket where they were starting to move in to spawn. In 15 minutes, I had a seven-fish limit on a brown jig/black Uncle Josh #25 crawfrog that weighed north of 25 pounds. Right place, right time.

Now that it is semi replaceable, I've been re-brining and rehabbing my old pork. A few jars are going in the boat this spring, and just painted a bunch of Arkie and Stanley style jigs for flat rubber skirts.

Had a couple dozen jars go missing on me for a few years. Finally found them under a bunch of carded Rattleback and First Out jigs in the fish room.
