jdmidwest Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 I almost drove to Tecumseh this weekend with the wife to try for white bass run on the area. Weather kept me here. tjm Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Not being a boater, the reports I read confused me, one said that the boat was "drifting downstream" at the time of accident and another said it was "unclear who was the driver" at the time of accident. So, if they were drifting, would that not mean there was no one "driving"? and if drifting would the boat build up enough speed that impact would eject the people? 13 hours ago, fshndoug said: 3:30 am good grief Is that a bad time to fish there or they were just joy riding?
Deadstream Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 I will guess they hit a strainer/sweeper and the drugs didn't work. But just a guess. Been on many rivers late at night, easy to get in trouble sober or not.

JestersHK Posted March 29, 2022 Author Posted March 29, 2022 Thanks for posting John, that sounds awful. Been out many of nights till then... I should prolly start wearing a life vest when I'm in boats in the dark... especially in moving water
fishinwrench Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 As far as rivers with a gradient like the NFOW has...... Nobody has any business being on them after dark unless they know it like the back of their hand. Ever seen the movie, Bird Box ? snagged in outlet 3, JestersHK and fshndoug 2 1
