You never try and “drive through a chine walk”. If it’s started walking, the only way you get it back is trim her down and slow her down. You can however, drive a high performance pad V hull in such a manner that keeps it from walking

Dude, that is called DRIVING THROUGH IT!

Jesus Christ 🙄.   I'm done here.

This is why you'll never find me on BBC.

I’ve been in a boat one time with a guy who thought he could catch up to the walk with only input from the steering wheel, and not get out of the gas or trim down. Will never ride with him again, as he did his very best to wash the decals off the sides at 75mph.

I miss the old days where you had to have some intelligence to own a boat.

Gun dealers aren’t required to tell people not to shoot themselves but idiots do it every day. There is a perfect system already in place but these geniuses are too cool for school to implement it on boats. Quit whining if you refuse to change.

Weren’t you on there and got the boot? I know i was, and did. So i made 3 other accounts just to piss them off, then had 2 of those booted. I think i still have 1, but haven’t been on there in 2 years.

Right they'd be used after a collision. That's about it.

Only lake I've been on where I've seen a speed limit enforced was Minnetonka, years ago. No idea if they still do. Cal could probably tell you.

They still do. I think it and Prior are the only two in MN with speed limits, probably the two busiest lakes in the state. Dean Capra got DQ'd from a derby on Tonka a few years back because of a speeding ticket. It works but only because the Sheriff's Water Patrol has a reputation of enforcing it and there's so many places where they can "lie in wait" on that lake. 😀

No, I've never been actually booted from any forum.   BBC and the Drake are the only ones that I won't post in..... but it's entirely by my own choice.

Yep. One of our guys got popped when we were up there in 95 or 96. Something like a 30mph limit, iirc? Can barely keep it on plane at that speed.
