😳

I don't think FEMA has the authority to take anyone's kids against the parents will.  If they tried that around here, there would be bloodshed.

The FEMA crew that I met after the tornado hit here, was a group of drunks.  Literally. No exaggeration.

My wife is trained to figure cost on damages.

Seems they explained if the kids were there they could arrest him for endangering their life.

So, could I have been arrested for endangering my kids lives by not leaving when a tornado was headed in our direction ?

Let's discuss the decisions of school principles, football coaches, and bus drivers.   Ya Wanna?

If FEMA and the State succeeds in prosecuting that man...... You're setting case law that'll eventually bite EVERYONE in the rear-end, until the end of time !

Matter of fact, even if they THREATENED to have him arrested....They are setting themselves up for a huuuuge constitutional rights violation case.

Are you sure that you have your facts straight ?   Cuz if so.....I'd like to talk to that man. 🤔

Isn't FEMA is a part of the Homeland Security?  and as such  not subject to the Constitution?  our version of  Gestapo.?

I'm not sure that any Constitutional Rights even exist any longer, didn't GWB cancel them? didn't a more recent president declare that the Constitution is just a piece of paper and irrelevant?  haven't "We the people"  repeatedly voted for "security" over freedom?

FEMA comes in after a disaster to assess damage and help distribute supplies to help the ones affected.  They do not have policing powers and are unarmed.

Oneshot stated the guy was not wanting to leave when they alerted him to evacuate thinking he would get a bigger paycheck from FEMA for damages.

The guy wasn't to be paid before but was. We was trying not to have the problems we had before, evacuating before the problem came. We was going around with the Sheriff Department.

Like this last time evacuating after the problem was in motion ( River coming up) It was much harder.

Before I could monitor the Radar at home which might be all night.  Now we are only to monitor it for one hour.  Which is stupid.  Bad weather for here starts in middle of Oklahoma and in past we would watch and say what are you going to do? Sometimes it will bunch up right in the corner then follow I44 then other times go across Arkansas.  If we wait until the last hour we better be headed for the office then listen to people asking why didn't they have more warning.

It's a matter of Government pinching pennies and it won't work.

I have to have different Radar that will cost me $75 but it comes out of my pocket.

If a warning, and/or offer to assist is denied, then it's kinda like the old joke about the dude sitting on top of his house during a flood, praying.

"Hey, I sent you a boat and two helecopters!.....". 🤷‍♂️

This was back when water was over the 64 HWY Bridge. Which should have been shut down.

That cost us way more tax dollars than arresting him for child endangerment.  And most are too stupid to make decisions for themselves anymore.

I asked a customer today for his "mailing address".  It was a 3 minute ordeal making him realize that I wanted the location of his mailbox to send him a bill.

And the intervention of such is why we have an over-population problem.

Leave idiots alone !

The results of the last presidential election is proof that society is putting too much effort into saving ignorant dumbasses.

I thought we were headed in the right direction when they lifted motorcycle helmet laws.   But now we have this 🙄

They all get stupid when the bill comes due.   Buyers are liars 😂
