Prayers up for the families in Uvalde Texas

Wow, hard to believe what happened down there today.

Our best friends have a big ranch down there just north of Uvalde and know 2 of the families, one who lost their son and the other lost their daughter.    

Hard to imagine what kind of monster would go in and kill innocent little kids.

Yet another example of how the internet, and news from all over the world, effects people immediately.   

I was stuck working in Gravois Mills, Missouri all day, and away from the computer.    So, what has happened in Texas, or in Mogadishu, that I need to be upset about ?   

I haven't a clue.  🤔

Surely, HOPEFULLY, there were more good things than bad things that happened in the world today.

18 elementary school kids and a teacher were shot at school. Again, the Not In My Back Yard attitude is something I don't understand. It could be any school in America.

We need to protect our kids in the same fashion as our politicians and judges, but that is too simple and quite frankly can’t be used to advance other agendas.  Seems they aren’t important enough to those who erect the fences and have the armies of security to protect themselves from these same products of modern society.

As the most advanced nation in the world, WHY does this crap happen here, and predominantly HERE, unlike any other place on earth?  Why?  

We don't have more crazy people per capita here than anywhere else I don't think.  Do we?  I had to look up Ulvade, TX on a map.  But the fact that it is rural means nothing.  It could be anywhere in the US.

I think we can agree, we are all frustrated beyond belief.  And any time I hear "thoughts and prayers" I just want to puke.  Lets find and demand solutions.  We are way too long past Sandy Hook, Parkland, Vegas, Columbine, Buffalo last week, and on and on and on.

It is stupid to make it a political issue.  Its purely criminal and needs to be dealt with within the laws that we currently have.

The current agitation of events are stirring the individuals that come up with evil ideas.  Hi prices, wars, and the all nasty media stir this kind of thing up.

England is having a problem with Knife Control now.  Too many stabbings.

Values are sorely lacking in this country right now .Maybe if all news stations wouldn't talk about these mass shootings maybe that would help ,no notoriety for the shooter might help . Who knows.
