fishinwrench Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 Any interest in a 16.5" Lowe stick steer rig? Thinking about buying it, replacing the lower unit, fixing it up nice.....then selling it. But I don't want it sitting around all winter. Probably sell for 5500.00 and I'll warranty the outboard for 3 years.
rps Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 There was a time in my life when I would have called that tall cotton. A comfortable seat (not necessarily expensive) and a reliable engine would make that a great buy for a solo angler.

But alot of guys like that style of rig, and I can take possession of this thing for next to nothing. Personally I hate everything about it, except for the sweet little 30 Johnson..... but I'm in it for the money 😁
jdmidwest Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 Put a jet pump on it and make it a river boat. Terrierman, Greasy B and BilletHead 3 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

bfishn Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 I had the original Skeeter 'glass boat with a 25 Merc & stick, it was the most fun boat I ever had. You could run it to the back of a creek and turn around in 16'. Put a lot of fish over the side of that boat. BilletHead and Ham 2 I can't dance like I used to.

His was like Primer Gray. A gentleman named Larry Slocum. He was a very Good Fisherman and made a point of sharing the water with the guy in the back of the boat. I did not hear it, but I would guess he has passed away. bfishn 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
jdmidwest Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 My river boat is a Tracker Panfish 16 with 25 jet. Fun boat, sit up front and run motor or troll motor. Good visibility when running.
