Growing up i did the same. We would go out most weekend nights and take them to a guy. He would pay us $1.00 a bird and sold them to dog trainers.

    There is a guy I know that just retired from 3M. He trapped pigeons out of the parking lot. Brought them home and built a coop. Now with them breeding he has many. He trains his dogs with them. I stopped by his place and visited. He turns his birds out daily and they fly. Return as usual. He has to watch the hawks though. Locals have it figured out and he has watched his birds get taken out.

I'm glad that Dutch doesn't punch a time card here.  I'd be filing for bankruptcy 🤔 

I'm left wondering how old he thinks he is.    He might only be 40, and fixin' to celebrate his 204th birthday.

              Dutch is old, I knew him way before I knew anyone on here. 😀 He knows everything and can catch everything.  @Quillback might be the only one I know that might out fish him!  🤣

The hawks are a pigeons guys enemy. Just have to work around them. If you want to have 40 young birds left over every fall, you have to breed 80. 
 

I pick up my birds tomorrow. Got half of my kitbox ready, and will finish the other half soon.

I wanna fish against Dutch and Quillback.      Can we do one of those OAF photo derby's?    I still have the bump board I bought for the last one I got cheated out of.  😁 

I bet he ain't as old as he claims he is!!!  😅
