I have android.   The ones that cover the screen and make you close out, and refresh are very annoying.  I agree.  I've never blocked as I understand this site is revenue generated and don't mind the banners.

That started after this last update.  I went in and looked at the "advertising" settings and they haven't changed, or at least I haven't changed them in probably years. 

I need to go to the invision forum and see what others are saying.  Maybe there's a way to cut down on them.  They keep growing in numbers but I don't see an increase in revenue.  It's dropped actually while hosting charges increase.

There's 3 designated areas I can place ads - header, footer and in posts.  I disabled the post ads.  See if that makes a difference.

I recommend going with the option that results in the most revenue.  Make this crap as worthwhile as possible......within your moral limits of course.  

Currently you delete and scold any colorful language or humor......yet fully allow tit, booty, and cameltoe shots to pop-up frequently.     

Just seems kinda twisted. No ?   

Either way I don't care.  Nothing offends ME.....but ads like that DO set the stage.   😉

Is there a donate button?  I get lots of info here, as I'm sure most members do.  maybe a paid membership that was ad-free as an option?

Really not my business, but the site does take some work and hosting...
