We caught more than enough 14 3/4 inchers to make up the difference.....But so did the other guys, I'm sure.  😅 

 

Remember the old Woods & Waters tournament circuit?    Chris and I won the very first tournament they ever put on right here in my backyard, but never fished any others because of scheduling conflicts with others.

Good to see you keeping a record of the lunkers you're catching, Sandy. Wish I would have done that starting 50 years ago! I've got a shortened version somewhere of the bigger fish caught over the years but not the total numbers and info Rick compiled. Hope the trout parks can turn around one day and start raising and releasing some quality fish.

It would be really interesting to compare the numbers.  If Rick were guessing, you'd be way ahead of him.  But then he never considered himself that great a fisherman.  You were, in his book, the GOAT.
