Bucks are chasing pretty hard. I went and got my part done yesterday afternoon.  Nothing real special just getting meat.

It's all because you gave me luck on our visit yesterday. Thanks buddy! 😁

Nice one!

I decided to deer hunt to avoid the duck openers this year. First sit I had a big boy within 25 yds. I was full draw on him for 2 min but he had a branch over his vitals. Walked off none the wiser and in a way I couldn't get a shot.

Saw him again last night. Same song, different dance. 27 yds away with a cedar bough over him. Could see his head and legs. Worked off to a route a small buck chasing two does took an hour or so earlier. Going back after him tomorrow..

Been seeing mostly younger bucks so far, and yes, they are annoying the does. Did have a good one behind me Monday evening with 3 does beneath me while he worked a tree.  The old nanny goat didn’t like something and hung up, stomping her foot.  For what seemed like an hour.  He finally chased off one of the other does and that was that.  Decent 10pt pushed 3 does through this morning but he was really not what I am looking for.  I’m out of the woods until Friday.

I think after this weekend meat hunting will commence either way - would like to have two in the freezer before gun season.

🙄 It's always an annoyance 🙄

It's time for some MGTOW !   They'll be begging for it soon enough.

Reminds me of that little didy about the young bull and old bull.

Young bull says "See all those cows down there? Let's run down there and screw one of them."

Old bull says, "No, let's WALK down there and screw them ALL." 👍

The smart bull says, "Let's go down the back side of the hill and we won't have to listen to them whine all day"
