I have to agree, no where near the 49" record.

I did a little research , because my first thought was the fish is just too skinny . This was a picture of a fish not even 40 lbs .

All this being said , I grew up minutes from fellows and have fished it a lot . I can tell you that the record fish is in that lake with out a doubt . I have had some on that just wreck bass tackle and steal your lures. They were really really big .  I had one come from under our Jon boat and eat a spinner bait that had to be 50” it felt like the same size as the boat. It was eye opening , a little scary but mostly amazing .

That would be awesome to see. I've fished it a few times for musky but I can't even manage to get a follow. Maybe it's just the wrong days or maybe i have no idea where to find em 🤷‍♂️

It was always fall through the dead of winter when we seen and caught the ones we did .

I thought it was small too.

There is an old video out there of a man with a near record fish on a stringer beside his boat, it was taken at fellows years ago
