Well can't breed anything so guess I'm going to eat what it grows. 

Actually I'm going to mix it in my potting mix. Some say it won't work but we shall see. 1 part Compost, 1 part Peat Moss and 1 part Perlite.

It might but you will have fungus gnats out the @$$.

Fungus gnats 🤔 

I bet they are Dog Pecker Gnats.   

In order to determine the difference between the species you have to spread their legs and measure their foreskin.    If they are circumcized then they are Fruit Flys.

Clearly you have experience between a dogs legs so I’ll take your word for it 😂

Already know on Fungus Gnats and been dealing with them on other soil. 

I've had Fungus Gnats with Sunshine 4 and Happy Frog.  Use Mosquito Bits, Sticky Cards and Vinegar. Going to start using Peppermint and Basil. 

It's the mix they use with Square Foot Gardening.
