That’s not actually my quote… The one you referenced above

Sorry about that, I have poor computer skills. Not sure how I got your tag on it.

Have you ever fished tungsten heads? They are far superior to lead with the feel of the bait.

No, and I said I'd buy that they may feel different than lead, but after thinking about that, I'd bet you $50 that I personally couldn't tell the difference.

Insensitivity, it's why I fly fish, 1/4#,  1# a dead weight just feels like a dead weight to me.

Do you ever get that not so fresh feeling . . . . ?

ROCKET DOUCHE, by Sir Elton

Wrench packed my bags last night, pre-flight

Zero hour, 9 a.m.

And I'm gonna be high as a kite by then

I miss this page so much, they miss my spite

It's lonely out on Table Rock

On such a timeless glitter boat ride

And I think its gonna be a long, long time

'Til tungsten jig-heads from Mitch are on the end of my line

I'm not the Masengil they think I am at home

Oh no, no, no

I'm a rocket douche

Rocket douche

🤣🚀

No worries, I know Bill Babler on this forum uses Picasso tungsten all the time and loves it. He’s a guide at TR

I had a tungsten C-rig weight split in two, mid-cast, and backlashed a spool full of 15# fluorocarbon to the point I had to just take a knife and hack it into pieces.

That was the end of my tungsten egg & worm sinker use.   They'll shatter if you hit a dock, or a rock with them.

He's probably a lot more sensitive than an old construction worker and ex-sailor.

This reminds me of the old fax jokes that got sent around years ago, I used to get them quite often. Classic pencil drawings with crude humor. I miss the good old days when nobody had feelings.
