That's understandable. It does get to be a hassle with all of the different streaming apps. I guess I'm just used to it after dealing with the Bally Sports BS over the past few years. snagged in outlet 3 1

So I bought a Roku box and subscribed to watch... but really I had to because one group of guys staying here from KC didn't have a peacock account so I signed their TV in so they could watch. I felt somewhat justified, although I would have done it regardless. If the NFL can get the $$$ they will. And they will... get it. It'll help sports bar sales for sure. Good game though! Cardinals was to give my Son bunch of money. Had a big write up over it in a magazine. Cardinals never came up with the money. oneshot laker67 1
laker67 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 @Ryan Miloshewski I probably would have done just that. But I couldn't even get the pay-to-watch to load. It was like the whole world was downloading at the same time and Spectrum couldn't handle the traffic.

I have been using YouTubeTV for three years or so now and it's better than any cable service I've used. laker67 1 “To those devoid of imagination a blank place on the map is a useless waste; to others, the most valuable part.”--Aldo Leopold
laker67 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 @Ryan Miloshewski That's what Brad keeps trying to get me to do. I assume you can't DVR? If I use streaming from SPectrum I can. Also do you get all your local channels? Is there anything you can't get that you would have to pay for? I want Spectrum for internet, but am open to giving up cable viewing. I pay 60 bucks for internet, the rest of the 213 is for television.

You can record anything ahead of time or real time and you get all your local channels. When you sign up you put in your home zip code and it pulls everything in that's local. The only thing I don't get is Bally Sports so that stinks not being able to watch the Blues games in the winter. It's Royals in the spring/summer so I don't miss it then. Other than that, you have everything that you'd normally have. I pay $70 a month for it. I pay $70 for internet through Google Fiber so $140/month for both is cheaper than any bundle Spectrum would offer. laker67 1 “To those devoid of imagination a blank place on the map is a useless waste; to others, the most valuable part.”--Aldo Leopold

Try and like Sprint Car racing, you got WoO ASCoC ASCS and then you have to deal with Dirt Vision Flo Racing Racing boys just to try and follow the season. Seth 1
laker67 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 @Ryan Miloshewski I was wrong about my charges. it's 128/month for cable and internet. 300 (mbps?) I just called them and they will throw in the 4.99/month cloud service, and removing by digital box which will bring it down to 122/month. Zoomo will come preloaded with all the standard apps. I'll give it a try. Thanks for your input. If this fails, Youtubetv is next.

We live in the sticks in north Arkansas and are big Chief's fans like many others here in the Ozarks. We don't have high speed internet available and use our cellphone Hotspot for internet access. So with that said... screw NBC. Rant over. Sometimes 12 Billion dollars just isn’t enough. laker67 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
