DJ told me to say "a certain known acquaintance and certified dirty heathen be brining cheesecake, muffins and some cupcakes. Also some crappie to fry up and can do deer burgers if we need em."

On the odd chance that I wake up that day feeling like driving, is this all happening at Lilley's?  I don't usually plan long drives ahead of time and often find excuses to stop at a creek before I get where I started to go.

I'm planning on coming down for the festivites on Saturday. Don't plan on fishing. My freezer died and with it lots of duck legs that were going to be confit. Managed a few ducks the last week could possibly come up with something.

It's outside my 5 county use area so odds  are not high. When  I was 10 or 15 years younger 5 hours driving had more appeal. And every day starts out different, so it'd be more of an "impulse" kinda thing.

Anyone have a rice cooker or want to cook some rice saturday for the etoufee?  I am cooking up a big batch in my wok.

At least 4 dry(8 cooked) cups, or whatever will fill one of those big rice cookers.
