Just where did they show up? Maybe what happens at Taney fest stays at Taney fest 😁 Well, since you brought it up..... I bought a handful of flies and jigs from Lilley's fly shop. Put them in a safe place so I wouldn't forget to take them when we went fishing in about a half hour. When it was time to leave, I couldn't find them. Searched everywhere I had been checked my pockets many times. They were just gone. So, I went and bought another handful to replace them. (Worked out well as I caught my first trout on a fly rod). After fishing and while removing my waders, I found them. They were in my right wader leg. Not sure how I didn't feel the plastic cup rubbing my leg. Good times. I do things like this all the time but blame Pat for hiding stuff from me. Most things end up being right under my nose where I put it. Never found in my wader boot yet but there is still time for that to happen. River is up some, should not be an issue. Riverton down, or 142 down to Myrtle would be good also. Springs and deep water. Sloughs and dead water. Should be a smallie or two. Maybe a walleye or pickerel. Terrierman 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

I haven't ever caught a walleye out there but I have caught a few pickerel and love catching them. Mainly I love fishing the river because its so remote. jdmidwest Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Should be a good day. Almost got mine out of mothballs. Too much to do at farm, those cold weekends set me back.
