Buddy's grandpa was a MO Water Patrol Sergeant for years in St. Clair and Hickory Counties. Him and his buddies would noodle every year and have a big fish fry for the MDC agents/reps in the area to keep friendlies. Never told them they were eating noodled cats until after he retired. Flathead belly is great. I also think whole-fried redear and bluegill are probably the best tasting fish to me. And I still say crappie and walleye are overrated. Good, but overrated. bfishn, fishinwrench and Terrierman 3 “To those devoid of imagination a blank place on the map is a useless waste; to others, the most valuable part.”--Aldo Leopold

Are you claiming that you are capable of successfully going "FLATHEAD FISHING" ? I'll take that bet. 👍 Announce what day you'd like to go, buy a newspaper that morning, and post a pic here before dark.

Plenty of guys still do noodling around there is what I was referring to. We catch them on the Sac on trot lines occasionally. “To those devoid of imagination a blank place on the map is a useless waste; to others, the most valuable part.”--Aldo Leopold
