BTW, I'm no pit hater.  My daughter has one that is a real sweetie and I've known working pits that were simply amazing.  One was a cadaver dog that found a drowning victim in the Missouri River.

The funniest thing I've ever seen was a Chihuahua attempting to assault a Cat of the same size.   That cat just sat down and slapped the spit right out of its mouth! 😂

Me either.  They are cool dogs!   My only hangup with them is how they don't play nice with other dogs.   

Two dogs getting into a little scrap.....and then getting over it, and still being pals, just doesn't happen when a pitbull is in the mix.  I don't like that attitude.

2 pits got off their leash down the road at the dog park.  My neighbor young girl was walking her dog and those pits ripped into her dog.  Poor girl had PTSD.  The owner showed up and acted put-out that her dogs attacked the neighbors dog.  Horrible situation.

They kill way more people than any other breed too.  As mean as a chihuahua can be there are few fatalities from a FiFi attack.  Maybe start licensing owners, never mind the dogs.

Yeah, if you live way out in the woods ALL ALONE and don't ever want to be visited by anyone, or any other animal.....Then a pitbull is a fine choice.   

But in a society where we all try to get along with each other as best we can.....they are a bad fit.   

There's a good reason why Lions, Cougars, and Tigers are not known as good pets too. Although I'm sure they can be very sweet.

Don't worry about it, I've seen dogs yak on lotsa stuff. Who really knows what makes a dog yak anyway?

So I have a dog story for today 🙄

My kids are on Spring break, so I was off work and they wanted to go to Target. We had our little Yorkie with us. So it’s 62 degrees outside and we are wearing light jackets. So we leave the Yorkie in the car with all 4 windows down about 3 inches. 
We go inside for about 20 minutes and when we came back out there was a cop pulled up next to my car and proceeded to chew me out for about 3 minutes and gave me a warning. 
He actually got kind of loud saying “Sir, this is illegal!” Even though I had all my windows down and it’s 62 degrees. 
So I got home and called the Police department and asked them to quote me the law….they couldn’t of course. Saying only that you shouldn’t put a dog in a car in extreme temperatures. I swear cops are starting to drive me freaking crazy 

 

im sure some Karen in the parking lot called the cops because he barked
