Nick Adams Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I assume she's in MS or HS. She has have score at least 280/300 if MS and 285/300 if HS in a regular season meet to qualify for state. So I'd say she's doing just fine. NASP has a very specific way to teach archery that does not always match the self-taught the deer hunters. Here are the current rules if anyone wants to make an informed comment. https://education.mdc.mo.gov/sites/default/files/2023-08/2024MoNASPBullseyeRules.pdf Here are the NASP 11 steps to archery success if anyone else wants to criticize her form. I'm sure a school near you would love another coach if anyone wants to get certified. It's a fun little Saturday with the MDC guys. Greg Collier has taught the certification course in the Springfield area if anyone knows him. https://www.naspschools.org/11-steps-to-archery-success/ fishinwrench 1

There are still several Robinhood's on the wall at our archery shop with my name on them. Of course this was with sights. The best instinctive bare-bow shooters I know don't have a prescribed "stance", and none of them shoot 3 fingers under. Typically the bow is canted, and there is no "holding" the draw.....as soon as the string touches their nose or cheek it is released. They avoid shooting twice at any target because if they did the chances of a Robinhood are too great.....and arrows ain't cheap. How much better at that sport can a person possibly be ???? The use of a split limb cammed bare-bow just seems stupid to me......but apparently I don't know as much as I thought I did. Sorry to whoever I upset, but I figured I had a pretty good understanding of the game. My bad 🤷♂️ @BilletHead was right, there's apparently something WRONG WITH ME. But in my defense, I was initially trying to offer something helpful. And didn't think I deserved to be lambasted for it. Mitch f 1

Besides I'm trying to cook pork steak on the pellet grill with NO PELLETS 😅. Seems to be a shortage in my area. Sorry if any harsh words came from ME that were uncalled for.
