I've never heard of anyone fishing for catfish with crankbaits.

You can search a sandbar with a crank quicker than you'll draw one with bait.

I can't dance like I used to.

Flathead and channel cat love moving baits from crappie jig size to crankbaits.  Just blind luck that a bighead sucked it in.  But at least he made good use of it, fertilizer.

He lives in my town, but I don't know him.   Them bighead and silvers have really taken over my local ditch, and I'm not happy about it.   I bought a bow fishing rig, but haven't been able to get out to use it properly.

Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me)

I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)

I stand corrected.  I've caught the occasional dumb one on lures, but I had no idea folks actually targeted them that way.  Shows what I know lol.

It seems to be the week for those of us that think we know everything.......to learn that we're ignorant after all.

Welcome to the club, bro.   😁

I noticed the Iowa record Bighead Carp (caught in 2018) is larger than the new MO state / world (?) record:

The MO fish looks bigger (longer)?

Here we go again.   They need to be X-rayed.   All of them. 😅

Beware the local Farmer's Markets... might get lead poisoning from their tomatoes/cucumbers? :)
