I just had my annual wellness check/physical. Other than my ortho issues which are healing up, It appears I'm in good health. Sorry Wrench, it's nice to know. BilletHead 1

Well hell🙄 The fact that you woke up, and still knew where the bathroom and the coffee pot was, should have made you feel like you were still in good health. Why did you need to pay someone else to tell you? And don't say "it didn't cost anything"..... because YES IT DID ! It cost all of us. snagged in outlet 3 1
Quillback Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Yeah you get to pay for it whether you use it or not. You can feel perfectly fine and have issues such as high blood pressure, high blood sugar, cancer blooming in your bowels, etc. You can also check some vitals yourself such as blood pressure. I get checked once a year, things so far test out well. Once I know that I'm out the door worry free. I paid for it and I'm going to use it. BilletHead and Terrierman 2

If I’m going to give an insurance company my money, I’m going to make sure I use the benefit. I can go to the doctor and get checked twice a year for no additional expense. I can also go to the dentist twice a year to get my teeth cleaned for no additional expense. The ignorant tough guy mentality has run rampant in the USA. It’s really getting old. If a doctor tells me I have a serious ailment that I'm not aware of..... I'll worry myself to death over it, and my quality of life goes to $#!t. So I'd prefer to not know, and just flop.

The ignorant tough guy mentality has run rampant in the USA. It’s really getting old. I see the tooth people a couple of times a year myself. Being tough is sitting in that chair when they're poking around and cleaning with that doggone ultrasound thing. My male ancestors for the most part didn't spend a lot of time on their teeth and ended up with dentures. Dentures are not a route I want to go.
