The ignorant tough guy mentality has run rampant in the USA. It’s really getting old.

So has the woke,  gender neutral mentality. The ignorant tough guy stuff is an equal and opposite reaction to the wimpy guy BS.
None of the wimps would fight a battle to protect our rights BTW! FYF

Being ignorant is an action?

Your name calling has zero relevance. The country is changing in response to the woke BS

Come on men,

Let's not get this shut down. I understand both of you. This boils down to health care and might help someone here.

I see the tooth people a couple of times a year myself.  Being tough is sitting in that chair when they're poking around and cleaning with that doggone ultrasound thing.  My male ancestors for the most part didn't spend a lot of time on their teeth and ended up with dentures.  Dentures are not a route I want to go.

My health is good but my teeth are crumbling out of my noggin.  Gotta be tough to get old.

Only one guy needs to be spoken to about this situation and it ain’t me. You play with the bull and you get the horns

You have my sympathy.

I have had my share of work, something like 4 crowns and an implant.

Worst dental experience of my life was I had an adult tooth that never dropped into place, it was stuck up in my jawbone.  It was starting to abcess and had to go.  Only way to get it out was to hack their way through gum and chisel out the bone. I kid you not, they actually had a little hammer and chisel they used at one point.  I was in the chair for a couple of hours.  I was heavily novacained up of course, but it was not a pleasant experience.

I just had a steel bridge cut out because the “good” tooth cracked and got infected.  I swear it was a saws all.  I passed on the implants.   I’m 63 and they are in the back.  I got the bone graft in case I loose more teeth and need the implants to eat😂

LOL, yeah when they break out the saws and hammers you know you are in trouble.

Well hell🙄 The fact that you woke up, and still knew where the bathroom and the coffee pot was, should have made you feel like you were still in good health.

Why did you need to pay someone else to tell you?     And don't say "it didn't cost anything"..... because YES IT DID !

It cost all of us.

You should know by now how much cheaper it is to keep someone healthy than it is to treat disease.  Case in point.  My first endoscopy showed five stomach ulcers and four polyps.  Got the polyps removed with no problems then or until now.  I do cologuard now.

The ulcers were another matter.  A bleeding ulcer is no laughing matter.  Up until I knew the deal I ate rolaids by the handful and drank baking soda in water several times a day.  Neither of which did anything except mask the symptoms.   I now take an over the counter prilosec every day.   No heartburn and no ulcers either.

So go ahead and thank me now for keeping myself from becoming a burden to society by needing emergency surgery for a bleeding ulcer.  A pill a day man.  One pill a day.

I'm just one example.
