How is the Bass Fishing

Still trying to decide what lake I want to go to next week. So how is the fishing down there?

I see guides catching fish on night crawlers off points...  but I bet that's about it.  But I don't fish for bass...

I've got friends that are fishing just about every day.  It's tough, but they get some every day, mostly shallow.  Early bite.  I'm going tomorrow with Dutch, I expect it to be tough, but it's good to get out.

I went out this morning because it was pretty comfortable as I have not been since it got hot.  Knowing catching has been tough I got some night crawlers and hit some points around Indian Point.  Caught a few in 25 fow on flat points.  It was nice in that the cooler weather kept the wakeboards, skiers, etc in for a bit.  As big and open as the dam area is I had one guy that just had to ski around me and show off until he fell off 50 yards from me.  I had to laugh.  🤑.

Me too, Moon. He and I had a few whizzing contests over little of nothing but glad I learned to like the guy before he passed. He knew stuff.
