Here are some pics of the solar outburst flares over the lake by Long Shoal Park.  Nice show.  Too bad it seemed to kill the fishing for weekend.

These are from Festus, MO.  I couldn't see anything with the naked eye.  I probably could see some light red, but I wouldn't have noticed it if I wasn't concentrating on it.

The moon did not help.  We did drive out away from most city lights for the view.

We had a similar show out here in Maryland. Pretty cool to see. Last time I saw the N lights was in PA back in the early 90s. Was shimmering white and not the pink like this one.

Nice shot!

I was out Tuesday but it was a little hazy plus I had some light pollution to deal with.
