I've been asked to make an offer on this 2004 Lowe Roughneck 1760 / Yammie 50 

Been stored, unused, covered, and in a barn since 2007 

I don't wanna insult the dude, but obviously I'd love to get a really sweet deal on it.   Clean as a whistle, not even a scratch on the hull, only needs a carb job, refreshed water pump, and maybe a hose or two.   

Question:;   What is the most that YOU would be willing to offer ?

Longshaft.  Goofy little console and no real seating.  All sets too far back, how does it plane?  Probably need to run it and see how it rides.

Goofy ?    You're goofy !    😅  All you need a console for is to hold a steering wheel, and a place to mount a depth finder !

I would love to get it for 3500.00 but I don't wanna insult the guy.   The motor alone is worth more than that.

Since I'm actively in the same buying market, I'd say $5K... it's not what I'm looking for, but it's a fair price.

I'd agree with $5k. I'd venture to guess it would take a good long while to get that though. It is still just a jon boat, no seating, no storage, no livewells, no electronics. 

I'd say it'd be perfect for the avid catfisher or duck hunter.

Yeah 5k seems reasonable.   There might be a duck hunter out there with deeper pockets, but considering that I want to turn it into a fishing boat.....which will cost an additional 2.5k...... 

I'll bounce 4k off him and forgive the 713.00 bill that I've got invested in it thus far.   👍
