dan hufferd Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Well it should make launching at campbell point easier😀. One year after conditions like these subsided there was a bunch of people swimming right behind the out house, there was still a visible high water line above the door knob, yuck !🤮 nomolites, Quillback, BilletHead and 1 other 1 3
snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 We went over to the state park Saturday and you would not believe your eyes. 2 park workers trying to direct traffic. Poor guys. People working on their jet skis and boats while their trucks blocked off 2 lanes. The workers kept asking them to pull out and let others in but they weren’t having it. When they did finally pull out they parked their rigs in the turn around lane and blocked that off. People screaming and yelling. Crazy. One worker told me since moonshine is restricted it’s been a zoo every day. Cricket creek ramp is closed and they are launching off the parking lot. All the rigs were lined up since they launched early. Visitors without boats parked behind them and when they came back from fishing they couldn’t get their trailers out. All while more rigs tried pulling in only to get cock blocked. They had to back out up to the campground to turn and leave. That was Thursday last week. Quillback and cheesemaster 2
pstone Posted June 13 Posted June 13 We put in at Mill Creek yesterday with no problem. The dock is very accessible and you can launch and load your boat right off the parking lot. I guess Aunt's Creek is open but heard it was extremely busy. I called the Corps the other day and he suggested stay clear of Aunts' and put in at Mill Creek. nomolites, Quillback, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 3 1
rps Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Just for information, Holiday Island is good, even at 935. Big parking lot too. Also, at 925 to 935, that end of the lake is worth fishing. snagged in outlet 3 and dan hufferd 1 1

When I came back to the ramp at Indian Creek on Beaver today, there was a folding chair, with a rod in a rod holder on each side of the chair - lines out right next to the ramp. Well one of the lines wrapped on my prop, didn't know it until I stopped about 50 yards from the ramp to tie down. Fortunately it was just around the prop, didn't get onto the shaft. Nobody in the chair or in the area, I looked around because I wanted to have a little chat with them. Unwrapped the line, cut it, and left. Must have been 50 lb. mono at least. Zoo season has started. dan hufferd, rps, grizwilson and 1 other 1 3
Bill Babler Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Good thing the fisherman wasn’t there to fuss at you for tangling up his line.🤣🤣🤣 Quillback and snagged in outlet 3 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

rps Posted June 17 Posted June 17 I was fishing near Owl Creek in the oughts when a boat with skier went between my boat and the shore. In the process, the boat snagged my line and went on to spool me. Fortunately the line did not slice the skier and the line broke before the rod was yanked from my hands. I always wondered how far the boat got before it had problems. I also wondered about the repair bill. Quillback 1
