TableRockBoater Posted Monday at 02:49 PM Posted Monday at 02:49 PM How do you feel about them? Do you think they should be restricted to certain areas of Table Rock? snagged in outlet 3 1

snagged in outlet 3 Posted Monday at 05:24 PM Posted Monday at 05:24 PM Can't stand em! But I understand the appeal. A guy in my condo assc owns a wake boat company and some times he has 2-3 out at a time. It's horrible. And now they like to get out early to surf the "glass". Ruins any chance of me getting out in my little boat.
tjm Posted Monday at 05:30 PM Posted Monday at 05:30 PM I would not necessarily restrict the areas, but if I had my way all boats would be restricted to 15mph, or no wake speed whichever is less. That might keep the bass from being hauled 50 miles before "immediate release" and it'd make it safer to wade or swim or use paddle craft. Save the speed for the highways. I like seeing boats doing 80mph on the interstates, not so much when they create a wave. But if any restriction is placed on one type boat the same should apply to all boat types, be it power, speed, size or areas of use. I' could get behind restricted power/speed within 300 yards of shore, for all boats.
fishinwrench Posted Monday at 06:11 PM Posted Monday at 06:11 PM One just passing by occasionally isn't such a big deal..... but one repeatedly going around in circles stirring up a whole creek arm for hours can be annoying as hell. Regardless of what I'm doing I've always tried to avoid disrupting anyone else for more than a few seconds. snagged in outlet 3 1

dan hufferd Posted Tuesday at 07:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:34 PM I would just like it if they would give me a wide berth when I'm fishing. I have had them roll within a few yards of we when I'm finishing the bank when there was plenty of room for both of us. Either most operators are oblivious to others or they just don't care. snagged in outlet 3 1
Lvn2Fish Posted Tuesday at 09:39 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:39 PM If you’re operating a wake boat you should be the most aware of your WAKE. snagged in outlet 3 1
