I’ve been here a week.  Cherry Grove SC area.  About a half mile down the beach is an inlet that runs through the resort area.   I hit it at high tide every day.   I’ve caught 2-3 flounder each day.  They are 15-18”s.  It’s ok fishing especially since it’s nearby.  I caught them all on @Mitch f Tackle Max Fugitive swim baits.

Friday I did a guide trip bass fishing on the Waccamaw River.  I’ve done this trip before and it’s a lot of fun.   Tidal river so we started at 2 pm on a falling tide.   The fish bite really good when the water pulls food out of the creeks and marsh.  I  caught 17 and the guide added 5 more.  All about 14”-15”s.   It’s all pitching and flipping Texas right worms or whacky rigs.
I had one hit a whacky that I pitched over a shrub that was hanging just on the water.   We were cracking up laughing.   I caught another nice bowfin but he didn’t have a net and after thrashing around at the boat it finally chewed through the 20 lb test.
I really wanted a picture of it so I dogged the captain relentlessly the rest of the evening.  He gave it back just as hard on every bite I failed to hook.   Which were many.   I probably missed 15 bites on that whacky rig.   including some huge boils from what looked like big fish.  Overall I rate him 5/5 stars.   Just a great guy and knows the area well.   That a shrimp boat that was blown upriver into a creek during one of the hurricanes.
