  1. Hey Now…..
  2. I really enjoy catching those little weirdos.
  3. Gosh that’s a lot to deal with Mark. It’s Got to get better. I hope the new gear helps you enjoy your fishing time and I hope you catch a bunch.
  4. Spoonbill. i plan on using mine for bowfin
  5. I do better on Skipjack when the water is warmer and they seem to get bigger as the year goes along. I have not caught any from that water way.
  6. Pulaski County. looking for something weird. I’ll settle for White Bass, Spotted Bass, a Longear and a top minnow.
  7. FTR Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, Missouri, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Kansas, Nebraska, Michigan, Delaware, Maryland, Illinois Also British Columbia, Ontario, and Isla de Cozumel. I fished and zeroed in Indiana and South Carolina. I visited and failed to fish in Washington State, Nevada, and Colorado.
  8. Seems like something I need to do. I fear I’m running out of days faster than I am checking states off the list. so far I’m only at 21 states. I know @Johnsfolly is keeping up with the states he has caught fish in. Is anyone else trying to do this? If so, where are you at number wise and what state are trying to go to next?
  9. I sure do wish AGFC would quit validating bow fishing. At some point fisheries managers will want that genie back in the bottle.
  10. Good Job! Bluntnose are not easy. Their population numbers don’t seem to be as high as a lot of the minnows
  11. C’mon Money Bags! Buy the dang Ultrex. I have one on my river boat. It’s complicated.
  12. Thanks! That’s a really good idea. It might be a good idea to have the most appropriate shaft length made. The one I had was just barely long enough. I know that they make em there
  13. My old Fortrex is dead. I want/need a Ultrex, but I can not afford one right now. I’d love to find a used Fortrex to get me by for a bit. So, if you have one, Please let me know.
  14. I certainly wish her well in her endeavor. I think $550 would be a more reasonable price. The vise etc are used and the materials have more value when the tier got to pick and chose what they wanted vs buying them unseen.
  15. I have two of the three rods you are selling and I love them. I don’t have the Nestor Fall spinning rod.
  16. I bought FFS for crappie fishing. I want to see how it benefits me when looking for White Bass too. Im still wrapping my mind around the fact that guys aren’t going to be using seasonal patterns and appropriate seasonal techniques combined with finding spots to catch the best limits of 5 over the 1-2-3-4 day events. it’s not for the better.
  17. me too, but I hope to fix that before too long
  18. Fair weather fisherman ?
  19. @tjm Sadly, No.
  20. I do not have a horse in this race. I don’t even know what the drama is this time, but I will make the observation that if you are solidly entrenched in an opinion most likely no one is going to change your mind and likewise you aren’t going to change the opposing person’s mind either so it’s kinda a waste of time. I will further remind people at large that they have no real right to be able to post here. if you feel put upon being here or that you are overly restrained or unfairly limited, you do have the freedom to play elsewhere. This is a really nice place to discuss fishing etc with some limitations. Please let’s color within the lines and not be awful to each other. For the umpteeth time, I want to remind people that the block user function is your friend. If people rub you the wrong way, just block them and you (mostly) don’t have to deal with that irritant any more.
  21. I’m assuming that the neighbor isn’t on OA.
  22. CheaterScope also has water temp built in.
  23. I’m going to be prospecting several rivers hoping to find some walleye congregations. Good Luck!
  24. 12 minimum on Spots is fine with me. Bull and Norfork have it.
